The year was 2020. Toilet paper was the hottest item on the market. People were wiping bags of Doritos with Clorox after visiting the grocery store, and it was the busiest hurricane season ever recorded (yet). Gulf Shores suffered a direct hit, and of course, that meant no vacations. Not only for the duration of the hurricane but the weeks and months of clean-up that followed.

I worked with photographers on location to grab authentic photos of the clean-up efforts, so we could remind people that this place was special. My tagline, “Our favorite place to be,” spoke to the locals who went through the storm and the visitors who came back year after year.
